01 — Approach

Medicine practised with attention and care

Treatment is a personal journey. The best outcomes happen when precise science meets genuine human attention.

Every family hoping for a child deserves a doctor who treats that hope with the same seriousness as the science behind it.

I chose to specialise in fertility medicine because I believe the deepest form of medicine is the art of giving hope. Over more than fifteen years working in leading centres in Türkiye and Cyprus, I have followed thousands of cases of varying complexity.

My practice is built on protocols tailored to each case. No two cases are identical, and no single protocol fits everyone. I always begin by listening, then by careful diagnosis, and only then by building a treatment plan that takes into account both the medical and personal circumstances of each couple.

I currently practise at Cyprus Fertina IVF Hospital in Famagusta, North Cyprus, where the latest-generation laboratories and a multidisciplinary team support every step of treatment.

08 — Frequently Asked

Questions patients ask most

How long does the treatment journey in Cyprus take?
The duration varies by protocol, but average total stay is between 14 and 21 days. Some protocols allow two short visits instead of one long one. The team designs the schedule around your work and family circumstances.
Do I need a visa to visit North Cyprus?
Most European, UK, and Middle Eastern passport holders can enter North Cyprus without a prior visa, with a short-term residence permit issued on arrival. Our team provides full information based on your nationality before travel.
What are the approximate costs of treatment?
Costs vary according to the protocol and any additional procedures specific to each case. When you contact the clinic we send a detailed quotation that covers the treatment, accommodation, and local transport. Treatment costs in Cyprus are notably lower than in Western Europe, while standards remain equivalent.
What are the success rates?
Success rates depend on several factors, primarily the wife's age, the cause of infertility, and the number of previous attempts. During your first consultation, Dr. Erman provides a realistic assessment of your specific case, without exaggeration or absolute promises.
Can I communicate with the doctor directly?
Yes. The first consultation is held directly with Dr. Erman or within his near-term schedule. Throughout treatment, the doctor personally oversees every stage. After you return home, communication remains open for follow-up and any medical questions.
Which languages can I communicate in?
Dr. Erman speaks Turkish and English. The clinic also has an Arabic-speaking team to support patients from the region throughout every stage of the journey, from first consultation to post-treatment follow-up.
Is the treatment safe and medically supervised?
Yes. Cyprus Fertina IVF Hospital operates to international medical standards, and the laboratories follow strict quality procedures. Dr. Erman is a member of international professional societies and stays current with developments in reproductive medicine.
